DAY 14 (Mike's Journal)

Mike's Journal
DAY 14

DATE: Monday, September 4, 2012
TIME: 9:39pm

A. OPENING THOUGHTS/OBSERVATIONS:

Interesting dynamic between having a fatigued body but an excitement about doing the exercises. My subconscious mind is associating feelings of Love, Clarity and Joy with these workouts. Should have taken a day off but am riding this wave of momentum. Not sure when I’ll feel like taking a break. I should take a day off soon but I am anticipating every day, every workout, with excitement.

A Course in Miracles work is focused on choosing to see and think of a world connected to God in contrast to a world that separates because of illusion. The affirmations have focused on having “no neutral thoughts” or “seeing no neutral things”. What this means is that with every thought and observation I’m either choosing to be connected with Oneness or lost in the illusion of the material world.

B. DREAM ENTRY:

Dreams are indicating speed and swiftness. I was traveling in a “Hopping Car” which handles off road traveling very well. It can grow legs and “sprint over” existing traffic on the highways. When I got to my destination I realized the map covered a much smaller scale than originally anticipated. The map indicates that the world is not as big, vast, or scary as I thought it once was. All of this I interpret as moving toward my goals at an even faster pace than I was previously aware.

C.  You will spend one more day on the workouts you started. On DAY 15 (tomorrow) you will switch your routines. The Emotional Exercises are now focused on calibrations for each one of your intentions. Between sets you will move up on the emotional scale for each intention until satisfied with what you need to do in order to move forward in making each intention a reality. (Hint: By the time you work with "Willingness" or "Determination" you should be taking some sort of physical action toward the fulfillment of your Quest.)

Example: Exercise 1 - Chest Press

After Set 1: Desire (Intention - Increased Confidence)

I want change in how I communicate to people.
I want a better body.
I want people to turn their heads when I walk in a room.

After Set 2: Anger

I’m angry that people sometimes don’t understand me.
I’m angry that I see my flaws in the mirror.
I’m angry that I’m less than perfect.
