DAY 18

A. OPENING THOUGHTS/OBSERVATIONS:
Very busy and finding it exceedingly difficult to log in entries that will have any meaning. Been trying to keep up with my A Course in Miracles studies and am easily distracted by my fitness work, my theater life, and my upcoming marriage. Yet I do manage to focus on my daily exercises and meditations.
Also been accepting the fact that there is no “will” other than God’s will. This is something that helps especially when considering my financial struggles of late. I want to pray for money, or more work, or something that will enable comfort in the upcoming months of having to share the expenses of a wedding and, someday in the near future, having kids.
B. DREAM ENTRY:
At first dreams were taking on a “dark” tone. Was overwhelmed by an army of corpses but to my surprise I was able to subdue and neutralize them. Roads were closed but my car grew legs once again and was able to leap over the barriers. A nearby city was dangerous but I made the corpses yield to my will. This tells me that I’m working with my fear and negative emotions. My subconscious is in alignment with my intentions. Barriers are being overcome. It also means the ego, which teaches death, is yielding to my spirit's will which is to teach about life.
Dreamed that all four of my tires blew out and that my car was completely totaled. At first I was horrified, upset, and beyond panicked. Without a vehicle I had no hope to survive because getting to my work wouldn’t be possible. I obeyed my teaching, forgave the moment, and started to reconnect with the reality that I am One with God. Something would come to my aid.
I’ve observed that all “4” tires represented a disruption in my stability. “4” in numerology represents hard work, perseverance, and a steady, stable growth. I felt that having the four tires blown out represented a disruption to my steady climb in this Quest. Later in the dream God offered me a job as his official spokesperson with a salary of $2.2 million a year. (2.2 again represents 2+2=4, the number of the “Master Builder” who is responsible for leaving tangible legacies.) At first I was grateful but then felt overwhelmed, thinking it was a trick. Every time I was offered something like this it was taken away. In the dream I refused the offer which tells me my subconscious is resisting any reward for taking my rightful place in the world. I woke up feeling grateful for the revelation and graciously accepted any appointment God wanted me to take up.
C. Today you will have the choice of two different exercises.
Each one will help you create details about your Quest from your sense
of Seeing, Hearing, and Feeling.
OPTION # 1: This one will be demonstrated in Mike's
Journal on today's entry (DAY 18.) If you prefer OPTION # 2, that
exercise will be demonstrated on DAYS 19 and 20.
If you don't have any more "negative" feelings about your Quest or
intentions then there's no reason to create them. If you still would
like to make "positive" feelings more "positive" you can do OPTION # 2
as well. But this OPTION will allow you to put yourself at the end of
your Quest. You've already accomplished you intentions and between each
set you will GET SPECIFIC about first the sights, then the sounds, and
finally the feelings of your Quest.
Today you will look at your intentions. Between each set you will make
specific statements about what it would be like to attain and realize
your intentions. After the first set make “I see” or visual statements.
After the second set make “I hear” or “auditory” statements. Finally,
after the third set make “I feel” or feeling (kinesthetic) statements.
Finish the first physical exercise and go onto the next intention during
the second physical exercise.
For example:
1. Exercise 1: Barbell Squat with Left Leg Lunges
4 Sets of 10 Reps
Identify Intention: Increased Confidence
After Set 1: Make “I see” statements.
(a) I see my perfectly sculpted body.
I see admiring eyes.
I see myself typing up the last page of this book.
After Set 2: Make “I hear” statements.
(b) I hear cat calls when I’m on stage.
I hear myself groaning in satisfaction as I lift more than I ever have before.
I hear someone saying, “It’s obvious you’re a personal trainer.”
After Set 3: Make “I feel” statements.
(c) I feel light in my heart and glowing in my heart.
My feet move easily and effortlessly.
I feel pride swell up in my throat.
OPTION # 2:
Between each set, make a See, Hear, and Feel statement corresponding to
each emotion you feel and move up the calibration scale. Do this for
each intention that needs support in your mind. (See “Mike’s Journal”,
DAYS 19 and 20 for an example.)

(a) I see myself reuniting with everyone in my life who I’ve ever had a grievance with.
I see eyes filled with love.
I see my thoughts becoming reality. (Example: A stage to present my thoughts, once I write something it becomes a reality to be acted out on the stage.)
After Set 2: Make “I hear” statements. (If Option # 2, continue moving up the emotional scale with See/Hear/Feel statements.)
(b) I hear so many people saying “Thank you”.
“Your message was very clear to me!”
God says: “You are amazing!”
After Set 3: Make “I feel” statements.
(c) I feel my heart race.
I feel God’s loving caress.
I feel my breath getting deeper as my heart and head open up.
3. Exercise 3: Leg Extensions with Side Low Lunges
3 Sets of 12 Reps
Identify Intention: Develop Content for Book
After Set 1: Make “I see” statements. (If OPTION # 2, make See/Hear/Feel statements according to the emotion experienced.)
(a) I see online posts of people giving feedback about these ideas.
I see a line of people waiting to be in a workshop for this.
I see the number of sales which pleases me.
After Set 2: Make “I hear” statements. (If Option # 2, continue moving up the emotional scale with See/Hear/Feel statements.)
(b) I hear my own statements that work for me. Statements like “The body is used for communication, not the 'end all' of existence."
I hear others asking intelligent questions like, “How might I deepen my commitment to the skills expressed from Chapter 11?”
I hear my phone buzz each time a new statement or question is made about my content.
After Set 3: Make “I feel” statements.
(c) In my heart I feel satisfied just knowing I finished the book.
My head is buzzing with delight from the incredible feedback others are contributing.
I feel strong, an effortless strength, knowing I inspired myself to finish this project…regardless of the outcome.
4. Exercise 4: Prone Leg Curls with Dumbbell Box Squats
3 Sets of 12 Reps
Identify Intention: Become a "New Person"
After Set 1: Make “I see” statements. (If OPTION # 2, make See/Hear/Feel statements according to the emotion experienced.)
(a) I see new physical muscular “cuts” that weren’t there before. This signifies a new attitude, behavior, and philosophy which sculpted these muscles.
I see more open spaces in nature which symbolizes more freedom.
I see friends with me more often because they have found value in my new choices.
After Set 2: Make “I hear” statements. (If Option # 2, continue moving up the emotional scale with See/Hear/Feel statements.)
(b) I hear a ringing in my dreams that reverberates through my heart.
I hear more high pitched, soothing sounds in my waking life symbolizing my living at a “higher vibration”.
I hear silence when I reflect on the new found peace I’ve discovered.
After Set 3: Make “I feel” statements.
(c) I feel stronger and healthier in my torso and legs.
I feel light yet solid.
I feel my heart expanding.
5. Exercise 5: Russian Twists with Side Plank Dumbbell Rows
3 Sets of 12 Reps
Identify Intention: Review Intentions, Give Feedback on What They Mean Today
After Set 1: Make “I see” statements. (If OPTION # 2, make See/Hear/Feel statements according to the emotion experienced.)
(a) Increased Confidence: I'm almost annoyed at this intention and ready to let it go. I believe that's because my ego wanted more security but now my spirit knows it's always going to be secure.
After Set 2: Make “I hear” statements. (If Option # 2, continue moving up the emotional scale with See/Hear/Feel statements.)
(b) Rich Spiritual Life: I'm definitely going farther than I ever have before with this. This benefit alone is making this Quest worthwhile.
After Set 3: Make “I feel” statements.
(c) Develop Content for Book: Believe it or not, my notes thus far are almost 300 pages! That's a lot of content and this feels exceedingly satisfying. This Quest curriculum can get the job done as far as measurable output!
6. Exercise 6: "Bike and Bounces" (Bicycle Crunches with Pilates "100's")
3 Sets of 25/50 Reps
Identify Intention: Review All Intentions
After Set 1: Make “I see” statements. (If OPTION # 2, make See/Hear/Feel statements according to the emotion experienced.)
(a) New Person in 30 Days: Again, like "Increased Confidence", this intention is getting tiresome because I see now it was made from my ego. I will continue to entertain the intention in order to complete the Quest but I'm ready for more tangible results to demonstrate that the "new person" I've become can create measurable effects based on this "philosophical" work.
